In the lovely rustic studio of Battersea Bloem we will introduce you to the world of British Grown Flowers! Also known as grown, not flown, this movement has been steadily on the rise. However, still only 14% of British cut flowers are actually grown in the UK.

Under expert guidance you will make a lovely table arrangement with British grown flowers. There will be a choice of pots and a wide selection of flowers to arrange with. We will demonstrate various sustainable floristry techniques that you can replicate at home and we will  tell you more about what flowers you can grow yourself and how best to arrange them.

The workshops are  relaxed and informative. We will begin by demonstrating various sustainable flower arranging techniques, including some that go back to Victorian times! You will subsequently create your own arrangement using chicken wire in a lovely flower pot. We will provide everything you need, even a bag to take your arrangement home in.
